Spotify is a music streaming service that I subscribed to for about 6 months and paid for but when my phone broke I lost access to the app and email address that I would use to recover my account with so I could no longer use the service.

To add insult to injury, Spotify is basically telling me that they know they have double billed me all this time bur saying they can't do anything about it, that's unacceptable! I have provided screenshots as requested and still no help! The whole customer service experience here is a mess!! There's no real resolution being given here because now we have the wrong account cancelled and I'm being told that my member can only be added to 1 duo account within a year.

Third advisor was contacted when we discovered that the member account '***********' was disconnected and now shown as a free account. First advisor, cancelled the wrong account with the member attached at username *********** even though they were told specifically to keep that account and then we were informed that they can only credit back for 14 days even though we've been incorrectly double charged for at least a year! Second advisor, assured me that my member was still added to the duo account and now only one account is premium and the other has been cancelled now shown as free. Throughout this chat, I ended up working with 3 different individuals due to their lost connections etc. I spent over 2 hours trying to fix this matter again with their 'advisors' using chat. Fast forward to now, we noticed while paying the credit card **** that we're still being double charged for 1 service with Spotify. We were told by the end of the chat that the issue was resolved and we would be billed for one account only. It was discovered that 2 accounts existed one through the email address provided and one through fbook. My spouse and I, ***************************, have had a Spotify premium duo account for years now using the email address of ********************** Last year, we noticed that we were being double charged for this service and contacted customer service through their message chat (since it's the only way to communicate with them).
